Description

This young lady looks to be in her mid to late teens. She is quite short, barely five foot one and yet she carries her self with the confidence of one who knows what she wants. Fair skin where it is seen is smooth and free of flaws and blemishes. Her hair is a sunny shade of blonde and falls a few inches past her shoulders in loose waves. Thin arched blonde brows sit above tilted eyes of a bright and vibrant blue. Thick golden lashes frame those large eyes. Her face is rounded with soft feminine features. She normally wears just a hint of light red lipstick to accent her full lips. A slender neck leads down to a body that strikes a balance between athletic and feminine.

Background

Lillian was the first child born to Howard and Amie Yaxley, both proud pure-blood wizards. Her father Howard was upset that she was not the boy he wanted so badly and he and his wife tried again two years later only for Amie to die in childbirth taking the baby with her. When it was discovered that the baby was the son Howard had wanted so bad the man was both grief stricken and furious.

Lillian grew up without much love. The family house elf did most of the caring for her and her father did little to help. When Howard did speak to her it was usually to criticize her. Her father felt guilt for insisting that Amie have another child. He was angry at himself and at the child who looked so much like the mother. Lillian was a dramatic child. She knew her father wouldn't give her much attention unless she did something big so she often did her best to attract attention even if it was negative. She loved attention but her father's treatment of her made her more accustomed to the negative type rather than the positive. She was an ambitious child. She wanted to be the best and to be noticed. Whether it was good or bad did not really matter as at least she would be noticed. She got her Hogwarts letter at age eleven and went off to school that fall. She was sorted into Slytherin due to her ambition and strong desire to prove herself.

Making friends was a turning point for her. She learned through observation that people where not supposed to thrive on negative attention, that was a bad thing. But she did, she felt more alive when she was suffering for a mistake and this confused her greatly. She went through her first year and discovered her love of flying and quidditch at their first lesson. Second year she tried out for the beater position. She was surprisingly good and made a reserve spot on the team. Near the end of the year she actually got to play and did very well. Third year saw her with a starting spot on the Slytherin Quidditch team. Every year after that was much the same. She played quidditch and did her schoolwork.

She was good in the more practical aspects of magic but hands on stuff like potions and herbology was not her strong point at all. She still desires to prove herself but now she knows what she wants to do, play professional quidditch. Her father is currently looking for someone suitable to marry her off to and she doesn't really now what to think about this. If it doesn't interfere with her plans she doesn't really mind getting married. In something of a surprise outcome, however, Howard managed to find a suitable wife for himself, instead. After a whirlwind courtship, her father and her new step-mother, Dauphne Goshawk, were married in May of 1940 while Lillian was at school, preparing for her NEWTs.

RP Hooks

  • Pure-Blood: As a fairly well off Pure-blood her family likely has some connections to other Pure-blood families.
  • Slytherin: Lillian is going into her seventh year at Hogwarts. She is a Slytherin but is slightly more open minded than some of her house mates in that she doesn't really care about politics.
  • Quidditch: She had been playing for the Slytherin quidditch team since her second year. She is a beater and is pretty good at it as well. She is also a big fan of the sport and is living out her dream since she joined the Appleby Arrows after she graduated.
  • The Father: The father is open to being turned into a PC if anyone is interested. He is a former Slytherin and a proud pure-blood. His first wife and unborn son died when Lillian was two leaving them alone. He has some issues with anger and guilt and sees his daughter as a reminder of that. He doesn't openly show his love for her and is rather critical of her choices. Other than that the aspects of his life and personality are open. He has recently remarried to a much younger wife - Dauphne, one of the many Goshawk girls.

Relationships

Elise

Elise
An insightful girl who helped me figure out a solution to my 'problem'. She seems to enjoy Quidditch and is fairly good company so far.

Augustin

Augustin
Our relationship started as a mutual agreement which grew into something more complicated…for me at least. Then it fell apart and honestly I think I'm better off now. Lesson learned. Since then, he lost his mother and left the school to help take care of his family.

Douglas

Douglas
Annoying but slightly amusing…and surprisingly understanding even if his pick up lines are horrible.

Lucian

Lucian
I don't know him very well but he seems honorable and loyal to a certain degree as well. I think he would make a good friend if I got to know him better.
