Description

A place of royal weddings, coronations, and funerals, Westminster Abbey is one of, if not the most famous church in London. The Gothic structure stands tall with two huge towers standing over the Great West Door, with another entrance in the North showcasing the beautiful Gothic architecture. Inside is a huge vaulted ceiling over the Nave, standing multiple stories over the stone floor and held up by great pillars, and at the end of the nave is the Sacrarium, beautifully decorated in bronze carvings. At the far end of the Nave, steps lead to Henry VII's Lady Chapel. From the Nave, halls venture off to the cloisters and the grassy square known as the Garth, the Chapter House, and the Abbey Museum.
