Description

Though smallest of the four Inns of Court, Grey's Inn is anything but small. Built centuries ago, the building shows its age in the simplicity of its design. Quality woodwork can be seen throughout the building, but only in the chapel are the windows anything more than simple squares with a grid of wooden supports in them. The layout is straightforward, striking a balance between utilitarian concerns and portraying an image of high education and wealth. Yet, lining the roof, are garden walk ways that some consider to be the most beautiful in London.
