Description

Covering 47 acres Green Park is almost one uninterrupted patch of green in the middle of the city. Other than pedestrian walk ways and an occasional park bench most of Green park is just - green. There is very little in the way of monuments or other such decoration. The only thing that could be considered decoration is Canada Gate. The entrance to the park through this gate is close by to Buckingham Palace. One small bit of pond is located rather centrally adding just a touch of blue to the sweeping green landscaped park. In and around the small pond a few ducks and swans have taken up residence. The creatures are bold and hold no fear of man. In fact they are so bold that sometimes they will pursue a human for bread crumbs rather aggressively.
