Scotland - An Auror raid on Eibon Manor in Scotland the afternoon of 5 March lead to the arrest of family patriach Noalan Eibon II on suspicion of dealing in the dark arts, according to sources within the Ministry of Magic.

Three Aurors, identified as Irene Lee, Bannon Bates, and Graham Cohen, served a search warrant on the Eibons. The warrant was the result of the search of a warehouse on the Isle of Dogs in London which resulted in the recovery of many dark artefacts, as well as goods reportedly stolen from the Avery Shipping Company. Based on the results of the search, Eibon II was taken into custody by the Auror Office and may face trial before the Wizengamot for trafficking in forbidden objects.

In a prepared statement, Chief Auror Gordon Worthington said, "The Auror Office had reason to believe that unicorn blood, acromantulas, dark grimoires, and other similar items were brought into London under the ausipces of the Eibons. Aurors Lee, Bates, and Cohen executed a search for additional evidence, and further prohibited items were found at Eibon Manor."

Worthington reported that Eibon II was being held in Ministry custody, "pending the outcome of the investigation" and that the Aurors had not officially lodged any charges as yet. "When we do, we'll let you know straight away."
