London — Three unregistered werewolves were captured and a werehouse full of goods seized in a raid by the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at a warehouse in the Isle of Dogs area of London on 4 March.

Following what MLE Officials described as a "protracted investigation" to uncover the location of the Fidelius-charmed warehouse, a team of Aurors and Hit Wizards descended on the facility in the dusk hours of Wednesday. No sooner had they began to enter than they were beset by three werewolves, the slavering beasts barely stopped, but not before injuring the Magistrate of London, Peregrine Urquart, who was participating in the investigation.

While the MLE declined to give final details on what was taken, a source speaking on condition of anonymity described luridly macabre and tenebrous chattels such as unicorn blood as among the raid's haul.

Deputy Commissioner Solomon Shacklebolt praised the investigators, remarking that "a blow had been struck against dark wizards." He declined to comment when asked whether this investigation was related to a rumored probe into the dealings of the Eibon family.

Arrested was Peter Jagger, 46, of Abnorm Alley, an unregistered lycanthrope. Jagger is a being of interest in the dissapearances of numerous prostitutes in the Mysticked District, and final charges against him are pending. Also arrested were two other unregistered werewolves, who were not identified by the Ministry. Magistrate Urquart was taken to St. Mungos, where he was initially classified as "quite banged up." His status was upgraded to "almost through the woods" over the weekend, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
