Potions Master
Portrayed by Jim Broadbent
Name: Horace Slughorn
Aliases: Sluggy
Birthday: June 25th, 1881
Position: Professor
Lineage: English, Pure-blood

Description

Slughorn is a man of considerable stature and girth in late middle age, but something in his sad, watery brown eyes exudes sharp-witted competence. His impressive waistline isn't the only sign of physical decrepitude about the fellow; his sandy-brown hair is thin and receding, and the comb-over does nothing to hide his bulging, shiny head. Wispy eyebrows, a wide nose, and razor-thin lips are set in his sallow, fleshy face. Age has grooved lines in his forehead, around his mouth, and under his eyes. His chin is loose and sagging.

Despite his deteriorating looks, the professor has a fashion sense running towards foppishness. He wears a fuzzy, high-collared brown peacoat with gold buttons over a patterned olive vest and a white undershirt. A gold and black printed bowtie rests on his neck. Brown slacks cover his legs, and polished brown leather dress shoes adorn his feet.
